Welcome, world, to RaftUps!

What is a RaftUp? In the sailing world, it’s when boats come sailing from separate courses to anchor together and later go on their separate courses.

At RaftUps, folks come from different courses of belief to “anchor” together for one or two hours and then “sail off” on their separate courses of beliefs.

Why do folks “sail” to RaftUps? Because a RaftUp is a non-threatening, non-judgmental place to make themselves more self-aware of their beliefs and how their beliefs influence their lives.

For many, there are honest periods of doubt about beliefs and questions about life still needing more complete answers. At a RaftUp no one is concerned about expressing self-doubt about beliefs or asking questions. And no one is concerned about being proselytized by others, who happen to be seeking their own answers.

RaftUps have no agenda beyond being a safe place to think about beliefs. RaftUps have no service, agenda, or belief system. Those who come to RaftUps come from diverse beliefs, including “non-belief”.

It is remarkable that folks keep coming to RaftUps – but they do. If a time comes when you want to become more self-aware of your beliefs, a RaftUp will be there to give you a place to do it in the company of others doing the same thing.
